Sharing his views on Anurag Kashyap’s production house, Karan Johar articulated, “I have a lot of admiration for the production house since it has directors like Vikas Bahl, Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag at the helm. I have had such exciting meetings with them, with all the directors discussing storylines, titles and other details of Vinil’s film.” Furthermore, Anurag Kashyap also went on to articulate, “We have high regard for our individual spaces. Vinil’s story brought us to a common ground and since we both like the story and his direction, we decided to jointly produce it.”

As for the director of the film, Vinil Mathew has previously directed several ad films and has worked with the likes of Vidya Balan and R Madhavan. “The film is a quintessential love story that will feature a young cast. And that is what he is doing in our film too.”
